Project Description

A Life Gathered

In the heart of Bangalore, The Confluence unfolds as a residence designed for a well-travelled family who migrated from Kerala and spent decades abroad. The home draws upon varied cultural and material influences—each distilled into calm coherence through our studio’s lens.

Here, diverse experiences converge in form and light. Sculpted silhouettes, gentle curves, and French-style panelling meet earth-washed neutrals to create a space that is both composed and expressive. Every surface feels intentional—where materials speak softly and light is guided with purpose.

At the entrance, vertical panelling frames a sleek console with gold accents, setting a tone of balance and restraint. The living area extends this rhythm: clean-lined seating in warm leather, symmetrical panelling in chalky lime wash, and floating orb lights that lend softness and poise.

The dining and kitchen form the home’s most layered zone, where high-gloss cabinetry, veined marble, and darker wood tones play in contrast and reflection. An artful chandelier above the dining table anchors the composition with quiet drama.

Each bedroom reflects its inhabitant’s rhythm—tailored, tactile, and grounded. The daughters’ rooms express individuality without excess, balancing warmth and structure through upholstered headboards, refined vanities, and curated accents.

The Confluence is defined not by any single gesture, but by the coherence of many—light, symmetry, and material converging in harmony. It is a home that doesn’t seek attention, yet holds it—with quiet confidence and crafted restraint.
